OTHER STUFF
The HOA board is pleased to announce the addition of two new members. Although he has only recently moved to Copperfield, Forrest LaVail has already made the commitment to do his part to improve our neighborhood and will be serving in the important role of Safety Chair. Also, Gary Keith was gracious enough to accept the Ground Chair position and will be putting his landscaping talents to use to keep our common areas looking great. Thank you, Forrest and Gary. We appreciate you both.

Did you know that ...
according to Copperfield's HOA covenants, "no business, trade, or activity shall be carried on upon any residential lot or building site....; no noxious or offensive activity shall be carried on upon any lot or building site, nor shall anything be done thereon which may be or may become an annoyance or nuisance to the neighborhood."
AND– remember that (unless otherwise approved by the building committee in writing) home and detached structures "shall be constructed with Elk Prestique 1 type shingles, or an equivalent or superior shingle approved by the building committee, which shingles shall be of WEATHERED WOOD COLOR". Please check with a board member if you are not sure if your roof replacement is compliant with our covenants.
Stay informed!! We welcome residents to attend the monthly Board meetings which are held on the second Monday of the month. Please contact any Board member for details.
FYI -
The CHOA continues to offer a reward for information leading to the arrest of anyone committing vandalism to Copperfield property.
Yes, we are planning to enhance the beauty of our planter boxes and entry ways soon. Because of the extreme heat and drought this summer, the board decided not to waste your money on summer plants. However, fall plants and colors are on the way. Thank you for your patience.
HALLOWEEN NIGHT for our young (and old) trick-or-treaters will be officially recognized by Edmond on the actual holiday of Monday, October 31st. Please leave your porch light on if you will be serving those yummy sweets (dark chocolate with coconut and peanut butter cups, please!) so that our kids will know who is participating. Also, please keep an eye out for our kids and drive slowly through the streets as they will be out both before and after dark.
Good news! Copperfield is considering adding a club house onto the existing pool house. This space could be used for all sorts of social activities such as game nights or birthday parties, etc. …… This would be a great addition to our park and pool area. If you have any skills that might be of use in this construction project, PLEASE contact the CHOA board. Your help is greatly appreciated.
