1. Each resident must sign in; any guest must sign in and will be charged $1.50 each, limit of five (5) guests per resident.
2. Anyone under the age of twelve (12) years must be accompanied by someone sixteen (16) years or older. 
3. Proper swimwear required, no cutoffs.  Children in diapers must wear rubber pants and a swimsuit, in baby pool only.
4. Tanning oil is NOT allowed in the pool area.  Showers are available.  People with apparent skin diseases, colds or bandages are not allowed in the water.
5. No glass objects allowed are allowed in the pool, such as glass containers and masks.
6. At the lifeguards discretion, swimmers may be asked to pass a swimming proficiency test before being allowed in the deep end or the diving area of the pool.
7. The diving area must be clear before diving.  No inward dives are allowed.  Diving from the side of the pool is only permitted in the deep end.
8. Tobacco products are not allowed in the pool area, nor alcoholic beverages.
9. Rafts, inner tubes, and other floats are allowed in the pool area at the discretion of the life guard.
10. While radios and compact disc players are allowed at the pool, PLEASE respect other patrons requests and keep the volume at a reasonable level.
11. Running, rough housing, or unacceptable behavior (including vulgar, obscene, or abusive language) will NOT be tolerated.
12. Unauthorized personnel may not enter the chemical/mechanical room, or pool office.
13. The lifeguards are responsible for maintaining the safety of the pool area and have complete authority to immediately eject any person from the pool area and suspend their swimming privileges for violating any of these regulations, for performing unsafe acts, or for disregarding instructions.
14. SWIMMING POOL PARKING AREAS ARE FOR USE DURING POOL AND PARTY HOURS ONLY.  ABSOLUTELY NO OVERNIGHT PARKING.

The pool is available for rental after regular pool hours for private pool parties during the week and on weekends.  Rental policies are as follows:

1. The person reserving the pool must be a Copperfield resident and must be present at the party.
2. Pool parties are discouraged during normal operational hours.
3. Reservations must be made at least one (1) week in advance and are excepted on a first come, first served basis.
4. Reservations are made only with receipt of a non-refundable payment for the full amount due.
5. Youth and teen parties require adult supervision with one (1) adult for every ten (10) minors.
6. One (1) lifeguard is required for every twenty-five (25) people.  Two (2) lifeguards are required for any number over twenty-five (25).
7. There is a maximum of fifty (50) people per party.
8. There is a $30.00 rental fee plus $10.00 per hour per lifeguard.
